Deleting a Property, Parcel, or Group

Properties, Parcels, or Groups can be deleted by selecting 'edit details' from the main details page, then selecting the three dots in the upper right corner and selecting 'delete'

Deleting a portfolio record in this manner will also delete any work items and data contained within them, including communications, attached documents, and record map data directly associated with the record, and with component parcels in the case of deleting a property.

Deleting a group will not delete its component parcels or properties.

Deleting a property will delete any parcels contained within it, as parcels cannot exist without a parent property.

Deleting a parcel will leave the parent property unaffected, however, it will remove the boundary of the parcel from the parent record. Therefore if the property only contains one parcel, the boundary will be removed. If you want to avoid this, use the 'Merge records' feature instead of the 'Delete' feature to merge the parcel into the property.

You can also delete records in bulk by using the Data Viewer. Start with an 'All Records' or 'All Properties' view and select the records you wish to delete. Then click on the three dots in the data viewer toolbar and select 'Delete Selected Results'. Confirm your choice.
