How to view data from ArcGIS in Landscape

This feature is only available with the Connections Add-on.

Landscape has the ability to show data from your ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise account as custom layers in Landscape.

Let's start with an example: Your organization maintains an internally-hosted Trails layer in ArcGIS for all of your properties, and you want to see it displayed in Landscape. You could achieve this without the ArcGIS Add-On by publishing the layer and linking to it as a public service layer, where it would be visible in the web app; however, it wouldn't be visible in the mobile app. With the ArcGIS Add-On, you can keep the layer unpublished and import it to Landscape as a custom layer, where it would then be visible in both the web and the mobile app.

To add an authenticated layer, first set up the integration. Instructions for doing so can be found here.

Then, from Settings > Map Layers > Custom Map Layers (you must be an Administrator to access Settings), select the '+' button at the top of the menu to add a new Custom Layer.

Check the box that says 'Authenticate this service with the ArcGIS Integration, then copy/paste the URL from the layer into the text box. Click 'OK' to add the layer.

You'll then be taken to that Custom Layer's setup screen, where you can edit the name, minimum zoom level, and style as needed.
