Display and query the area, length, or location of a map object
Single map object
The area, length, or lat/long of any mapped object in Landscape is shown in the panel that opens when that object is selected. For example, to see how far you walked on a single monitoring visit, simply navigate to the visit and select your trackline on the map:
These spatial measurement fields are also available in Report Templates! For example, use the 'Line length' field in a site visit report to display the length of your visit route:
Across your portfolio
What if you want to see how far you walked on all of your site visits last year? Use the 'Total area' and 'Line length' fields in Data Viewer to view and summarize this kind of information across multiple records:
These fields can be added as result columns or included in the view or widget query.
