How to log in with Two-Factor Authentication
Some organizations add two-factor authentication (2FA) to their Landscape account for extra security. If your organization has this turned on, you'll be asked for a one-time code after entering your username and password.
Instructions
- Enter your username and password as usual on the Landscape sign-in screen.
- When prompted for a code, open the authenticator app where Landscape is set up — commonly Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or a similar app your organization uses.
- Find the entry for Landscape and type the current code shown into the sign-in screen.
- Submit before the code refreshes. Most authenticator codes are only valid for about 30 seconds, so grab a fresh one right before you submit if it's about to change.
FAQ: "What if I don't see Landscape in my authentication app?"
Answer: If you've never paired Landscape with an authenticator app, or you no longer have access to the device or app it was set up on, you won't have a code to enter. Ask your Landscape Administrator to reset MFA enrollment from Settings > Users. Then, the next time you attempt to log in, you'll then be prompted to pair a new authenticator entry.
