Why didn't I receive my invitation email?

Sometimes, new user invitations and password request emails don't arrive in a user's email inbox. Here are the most common causes (and solutions) when this happens:


For New Users only:

  1. Try logging in anyway. Go to app.landconservationsoftware.com and click the 'Forgot Password' button. Enter your Landscape username (email address), then check your email again for a link to reset your password and log in.
  2. Ask your Administrator if they have your temporary password. Administrators are given a new user's temporary, first-time password only once, when they create the account, and could share it with the user if they saved it. If the user is able to log in with this temporary password, the user should also manually reset their password immediately from their profile settings.

For New Users and Forgotten Passwords:

  1. Check that the email address is spelled correctly. Be on the lookout for subtle differences, like "linda@southcounty.org" (no 'r') vs. "linda@southcountry.org". Also check for inadvertent spaces (usually at the end of the email address) or other erroneous punctuation marks.
  2. Check your Spam, Junk, 'Other' folder, or any other filtering service connected to your email address (such as a network spam filter digest or dashboard). Make sure "landconservationsoftware.com" is listed as an allowed domain in your email settings (AND at the network level, if your organization has a network-wide spam filter — you may need help from your IT department, if you have one).
