Troubleshooting Lens Integration issues

There are a couple of common causes of the Lens integration failing to create a Lens Note in Landscape:

1) ID number is mismatched or not present

The correct ID of the Landscape record must be represented in the designated field in Lens. In other words, the number that is present in the address bar when viewing the record you wish to sync should match the synchronization field in Lens (see screenshots below)

If you check these numbers and they don't match, then you'll need to correct the data in Lens by re-importing the boundary. See the main Lens integration article for more information on that process.

2) Changes committed asynchronously

Every time the integration is run, Landscape checks for Lens Notes that have been edited since the last synchronization. Occasionally the Lens note date can be incorrectly logged as having been changed or added prior to the previous sync, meaning that Landscape will not update that record. The best fix if you suspect this of happening is to make a small change to the Lens note you wish to sync, like adding a word or two. This should force the note to reset its dates and cause it to be synchronized correctly.
