Error: Property not displaying in Landscape Mobile

The Landscape mobile app and the Landscape web app use the same Portfolio Record data. However, there are several settings in both interfaces which may affect the visibility of certain Portfolio Records in the mobile app.


The most common reason properties don't appear in the mobile app is that by default, Landscape Mobile only sees records which are designated as Stewardship Sites.


In the web app, make sure the record a Stewardship Site. Go to [Portfolio Record Name] > Edit Details > 'Is Stewardship Site' > Yes. Typically, you only do this once you have a monitoring obligation on the property.

In the mobile app, change the default setting. Go to Menu (three horizontal lines) > Settings. Toggle the radio button next to 'Limit records to stewardship sites' OFF. Typically, this is the solution when you need to conduct an initial or baseline site visit.

If the Stewardship Site designation is not the issue, try the other troubleshooting steps below.


Basic Troubleshooting Steps

  • While your device is connected to WiFi, tap the 'synchronize' icon (the spinning arrows) to get the latest data.
  • Confirm that you are typing the correct property name in the Search bar, or that you're looking in the right area of the map.
  • In the web app, check that the status of the record is not Inactive. Landscape Mobile will not show any Inactive records.
  • In the mobile app, go to Menu (three horizontal lines) > Settings. Toggle the radio button next to 'Limit records to your team only' OFF.

Advanced Troubleshooting Steps

  • If you are a volunteer using the Portal experience, then it's possible you weren't assigned as a Team Member to that record. Check with a staff member at your organization and make sure that they've added you as a Team Member to Properties you need to visit.
