How to rotate photos individually or in bulk

If a photo is brought into Landscape in the wrong orientation, you can rotate it to the correct one either from the geography pane (for one or two photos) or from the 'Attachments' list (for rotating many photos at once).


From the geography pane


First, click on the point, line, or polygon feature that contains the photo. Then select the photo using the check mark on the thumbnail image and click on the 'rotate' button until the photo is in the correct orientation. When you're done, select 'save'.

You can rotate multiple photos in the same point by checking multiple boxes.

To avoid photos having the incorrect orientation when taken with the mobile app, make sure your device's rotation lock is off.


From the attachments list


Scroll down to the 'Attachments' section of the Site Visit. Turn on the 'Photos' filter if it's not already turned on, then click on the multiselect tool (checkbox icon) at the top of the list. Next, click on the check boxes next to the photos you want to rotate. You can select all by clicking the topmost check box. Choose 'Actions', and select the rotate option that applies:
