Species Observations
Species Observations are designed to collect information about species on the properties you own and/or monitor. For example, you may want to note that a rare bird is known to inhabit one of your properties, or you want to track the proliferation of invasive plants in your region.
Once enough of this data is collected, you can report on species across your portfolio, which can be used to inform your conservation strategy or tell stories to interested stakeholders.
There are two steps required to set up the Species Observation Work Item:
- In Settings > Species, import or create a list that will be used to populate the first four fields of the work item. You must be an Administrator to access Settings.
- In Settings > List Items > Work > Species Observations, define the Types and Statuses relevant to you use of this work item.
