Species Observations
Species Observations are designed to collect information about species on the properties you own and/or monitor. For example, you may want to note that a rare bird is known to inhabit one of your properties, or you want to track the proliferation of invasive plants in your region.
Once enough of this data is collected, you can report on species across your portfolio, which can be used to inform your conservation strategy or tell stories to interested stakeholders.
A complete Species Observation draws information from two places in Settings:
You must be an Administrator to access Settings.
The Species (common name), Scientific Name, Type, and Category/ies come from Settings > Species List.
