Uploading Drone imagery into Landscape (video)

If you're using a drone to capture images during site visits, you can quickly and easily upload those images into a site visit record back at the office.

Here are the steps:

  1. Transfer the drone images to your computer. Make sure the method you're using to transfer the images doesn't strip the EXIF location data.
  2. Create a new Site Visit work item, or navigate to the existing Site Visit record.
  3. Click the 'Edit' button on the map, then click 'Upload'
  4. Choose 'Geotagged photos' and bulk select the images by holding the shift key and clicking and dragging. Click 'OK'
  5. The photos will import. Depending on your network speeds and the number of images, this could take a few minutes.
  6. Success! Click 'Save' to save the newly created points.
  7. Add names, labels, and photo captions to the newly created points and photos. You may want to use the bulk renumbering tool to do so.
