Uploading Drone imagery into Landscape (video)
If you're using a drone to capture images during site visits, you can quickly and easily upload those images into a site visit record back at the office.
Here are the steps:
- Transfer the drone images to your computer. Make sure the method you're using to transfer the images doesn't strip the EXIF location data.
- Create a new Site Visit work item, or navigate to the existing Site Visit record.
- Click the 'Edit' button on the map, then click 'Upload'
- Choose 'Geotagged photos' and bulk select the images by holding the shift key and clicking and dragging. Click 'OK'
- The photos will import. Depending on your network speeds and the number of images, this could take a few minutes.
- Success! Click 'Save' to save the newly created points.
- Add names, labels, and photo captions to the newly created points and photos. You may want to use the bulk renumbering tool to do so.
