How to export a spreadsheet (.csv) of your data from Data Viewer
The Data Viewer allows you to see a spreadsheet view of almost any data set in Landscape - from site visits to basic property information - and allows you to filter and sort that list. However, if you'd like to export that list as a .csv file for further manipulation in a tool like Excel, there's a quick way to do so.
Start with the view you want to export, such as 'All Records'. Use the 'Fields' button to add fields that you want available in the exported data. Apply filters to the data as needed. For example, if you want to export only information on Partner Holdings, you'll want to add the 'Status' field and filter it for 'Partner Holdings':
Next, click on 'Export CSV':
The .csv file will be downloaded to your downloads folder, where it can be opened by a program like Excel and manipulated further.
"Nothing happens when I click Export. There is nothing in my Downloads folder."
Some internet browsers won't let you download files from any site unless you've explicitly authorized it. Make sure 'app.landconservationsoftware.com' is listed as an exception in your browser's pop-up blocker settings, then try exporting again.
