Working with a draft report

After you run a report, you have the option to save it as a draft, save and send it, or save and finalize it. Choosing any of these options will save the report as a report work item in the reports tab, but saving it as a draft will keep the report editable and will not create a .pdf for the report.

Saving a report as a draft allows you to return to it, send it for review, and save it as a .pdf at a later date.

To begin, run the report, then click on 'Save Report as Draft'.

Click on 'Save as draft' to save a report as a report work item

You'll be presented with a message telling you that the report will be saved as a draft, and which allows you to change the name of the saved report if you'd like. Click 'OK' to continue.

Success! The report will generate. You can then go to the report, or stay in the context that the report was generated from. Click 'Yes' to continue to the report work item.

From within the work item, you can print the report, save it as a .pdf, send it for review, regenerate it, and mark it as completed. You can also add any other work item data, such as notes, additional documents, or expenses.
